Dublin Maker is a free to attend community run event, which was held on Saturday July 23rd in Merrion Square. Dublin Maker is a festival of inventors, where people with new ideas are invited to showcase their creations. As part of the event, there is an opportunity for visitors to meet and talk to the makers in a carnival atmosphere.
Dublin Maker is here to celebrate all things creative while also allowing visitors to be inspired by some of the technology that’s on display – and it’s all done in a family friendly environment.
The National Ploughing Championships (NPC) has been around for over 90 years now. It used to just be an annual competition but now it’s much more than that. It’s a big part of Irish rural life and we hope it’ll continue being so in the future.

‘Puca Spooka 2021’ was a special Halloween free event that took place in the Town Park in Tullamore on October 29 and 30 of 2021. It had lots of fun and scares for all the family like the super scary Halloween Trail, an amazing Street Theatre, an always fun Pumpkin Patch and never forget the old time Storytelling.
All of these were enveloped in a Halloween spooky ambience with fantastic performances, spectacular lights and atmospheric sounds. The Puca Spooka Festival is one of the most memorable events in town.

It was a truly memorable event sampling locally produced products and signature dishes and feast on the Taste of Kildare. Local well-known and award-winning food and drink producers, food outlets and restaurants showed their menus in the kitchen.
