Health & Safety in Schools: A Webinar for Principals & Teachers

Thursday 25th February kicked off the first of our 2021 Webinar series hosted by our Managing Director, Breda Colgan. Health & safety in Schools: A Webinar for Principals & Teachers.

To start the series, we felt Health & Safety in Schools was a very current, very relevant topic! Did you join us for the live event? If so, we’d love to hear your feedback? From emails and comments we’ve received so far, the webinar was very well received.

We were delighted to be able to offer advice and answer queries from those who attended as we appreciate it’s a confusing time for everyone with the upcoming return to school. Breda covered the following topics:

  • Discussed the framework plan
  • Additions & updates to the COVID-19 Response Plan
  • Ventilation guidelines
  • HSPC guidance

The webinar finished up with a Q&A session where Breda answered some burning questions from the attendees and explained some topics in easy to understand, relatable terms.

Our next online event is this Thursday, 4th March – Health & Safety for Pre-School Managers & Staff, is live at 1pm. You can register for this event here.

Thanks to everyone who attended last week, it was a very successful event and we do hope everyone learned something new, or took something from it. Our aim is to help, and provide those in various sectors with the knowledge required to work safely.

Wishing the best of luck to all principals, teachers, SNA’s, maintenance staff and everyone else involved in the return to education over the coming weeks. It’s another confusing, stressful time ahead for everyone, that’s for sure, but once again – we’ll get through it together!

We’re always here for support or advice, so never hesitate to get in touch with our team should you have any concerns or queries.
